Florida Skunk Sightings

Please Do Not attempt to capture the skunks or disrupt them.  The idea is to document sightings with the safety of the animal and people in mind.

The goal of this citizen science project is to evaluate the population of both striped and spotted skunks in Florida.

Why skunk sightings? There is no current data on either species of skunk and without data to evaluate we cannot determine if the skunk population in Florida is in decline or sustained for either species.
